The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the NEET UG 2026 application form. Candidates who made mistakes while submitting their applications can now edit certain details through the official portal.
The correction facility is available from March 12 and will remain open until 11:50 PM on March 14, 2026. This correction period is the only opportunity for candidates to update their NEET 2026 application forms, so all details should be reviewed carefully.
Fields That Can Be Corrected
According to the notification, candidates can make corrections in the following details:
Parent Details
Applicants can change either the father’s details or the mother’s details, including:
- Name
- Qualification
- Occupation
Educational and Category Details
Candidates are allowed to change or update the following fields:
- Educational qualification details (Class 10 and Class 12)
- State or Union Territory of Class 12 passing/appearing
- Category
- Sub-category/PwD status
- Signature
- Number of attempts in NEET (UG)
- Examination Details
Candidates can also edit:
- Examination city preference
- Medium of the examination
- Identity Details
Changes in identity information are permitted only for candidates who registered using an ID other than Aadhaar.
Important Instructions
- If any correction results in a change to the application fee, an additional fee will be required.
- Corrections will be considered valid only after payment of the required additional fee, if applicable.
- Only one correction opportunity will be provided. Once the corrections are submitted, the application form will be frozen and cannot be edited again.
Candidates who have noticed mistakes in their application form are strongly advised to use this correction window and verify all details before final submission.
