The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional answer key for NEET UG 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam on May 3, 2026, can now download the answer key from the official website neet.nta.nic.in using their application number and password.
The answer key is available for all four question paper codes 11, 12, 13, and 14. Candidates can compare their responses with the key to estimate their scores using the marking scheme of +4 for every correct answer and −1 for every wrong answer. The OMR response sheets have also been made available for review.
This is a provisional key, and candidates who spot any discrepancies can raise objections within the stipulated time window by paying a prescribed fee per question. The final answer key and result are expected to follow after the objection process is complete.

- Click on the “NEET UG 2026 Answer Key” link on the homepage.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Download your answer key PDF for your respective question code (11, 12, 13, or 14).
- Compare your OMR responses with the answer key and calculate your estimated score.
After the objection window closes, NTA will release the final answer key and then declare the NEET UG 2026 result. The result will include individual scorecards accessible via the official portal using login credentials. Following the result, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and state authorities will begin the MBBS and BDS counselling processes. NEET remains the single gateway for admissions into government and private medical colleges across India.
